Clergy

Fr Andrew Greany Fr Andrew Greany is the Vicar of Little St Mary's.

Ordained Deacon in 1969 and priest in 1970, Fr Andrew Greany trained for the priesthood at the College of the Resurrection, Mirfield, to which he returned as a member of staff for three years following curacies in Hartlepool and at All Saints Clifton. Before coming to Little St Mary's in 1994, he held livings successively in Spennymoor (near Durham), Flamstead (near St Albans) and Hessle (near Hull). He was Spirituality Officer for the Diocese of Ely from 1999-2005, and has been Area Dean of Cambridge South since March 2006.

Though he gave up the captaincy of the Ely Diocesan Cricket team a few years ago,he still enjoys the occasional game of cricket, as well as lowbrow amateur operatics in the form of G&S!

Fr Mark Bishop Fr Mark Bishop is a self supporting priest at Little St Mary's.

He was made deacon in 2002 and priested in 2003. Until recently, when not at LSM, he worked as a barrister specialising in health and safety cases and other regulatory work. He has recently been appointed as a Circuit Judge and now works in the Inner London Crown Court. He is also a member of the Mental Health Review Tribunal, and is Chancellor of the Diocese of Lincoln.

He is married to Christine and has three daughters.

Kyle McNeil Kyle McNeil is Lay Pastoral Assistant at Little St Mary's.

Kyle is spending eleven months at Little St Mary's (September 2009 to August 2010) as part of his discernment of a vocation to ordained ministry. He graduated from University College Durham in July last, having read for a BA in Ancient History.

Kyle is from Perthshire in Scotland, is passionate about the natural world, agriculture and conservation, and enjoys outdoor pursuits and classical music. He helps with all aspects of the life of the Parish, and takes responsibility for the organisation of activities for student members of the congregation.

Christian Rutherford Christian Rutherford is Choir Director & Organist at Little St Mary's.

Christian Rutherford is a professional horn player and horn teacher. He was a member of the English Chamber Orchestra for many years, after which he spent six years with the Royal Opera House Orchestra. Since then he has played mainly with period instrument orchestras, in particular the English Concert and the Academy of Ancient Music (of which he was also the general manager for a time). He has worked for Raymond Gubbay as an orchestral contractor since 1982 and as an orchestral co-ordinator for many others, including the composer John Barry.

He was organist at Holy Trinity Sloane St for many years and has been Director of Music at LSM since 1998.

Anthony Fort Anthony Fort is Assistant Organist at Little St Mary's.

Prior to his arrival at Little St Mary's, Anthony was organ scholar at All Saints', Margaret Street (2008-2009) and St Martin's Church, Dorking (2007-2008). In 2009 he matriculated at Girton College, Cambridge as an undergraduate musician, where he is also an organ scholar. His organ teachers have included Andrew Arthur, David Titterington and Daniel Moult.


Sarah MacDonald Sarah MacDonald is Honorary Associate Organist at Little St Mary's.

Sarah MacDonald came to the UK from her native Canada in 1992 as Organ Scholar of Robinson College, Cambridge, after studying piano, organ, singing, and conducting at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Sarah read for a degree in Music at Cambridge, taking her BA in 1995 and her MA in 1999. She was appointed Director of Music in Chapel at Selwyn College in 1999, and is the first woman to hold such a post in an Oxbridge Chapel.

She was Assistant Choir Director, with special responsibility for the Junior Choir, and Organist at Little St Mary's from 2001 until September 2008.

Diana Galletly Diana Galletly is Webmaster at Little St Mary's.

Diana Galletly is a freelance website developer and software engineer. Originally trained in structural engineering, she discovered an aptitude for software development during her PhD and subsequent employment.

She has been writing webpages since the early days of the Web, and now does web design and hosting for several not-for-profit clients. She is also a keen photographer, and has provided several of the images on this site.
