A new Vicar, Fr Robert Mackley, has been appointed. He will be formally installed in a Pontifical High Mass at 19:00 on May 30th 2012. Little St Mary's (LSM) is a mediæval parish church in the heart of the university city of Cambridge, open every day. Since the late nineteenth century it has offered a distinctive liturgical and sacramental witness in the Catholic tradition of the Church of England to both the City and University of Cambridge. The main Sunday service is High Mass, which takes place at 10:30. Full details of services may be found here. Why "Little"? Because down the road is the well-known University church, Great St Mary's. The new Parish Centre is now completed and was dedicated by the Bishop of Ely, the Right Revd Stephen Conway, on June 5th 2011. LSM would like to express our gratitude to the many generous donations, and we hope soon to raise the remaining sum needed. Alternatively, if you would prefer to donate online to general parish funds, please go to LSM's profile on CAF. This church is in the diocese of Ely; click here to find out about other churches in the diocese. Come and have a look! You will find us next door to Peterhouse on the corner of Trumpington Street and Little St Mary's Lane. The church and its secluded wild garden are open until after Evening Prayer.
