Interested in joining the choir?
Parish Choir
Rehearsals are held on Friday evenings from 18:30-20:00 and are directed by
the Choir Director and Organist and the Assistant Choir Director and Organist. The first half hour of the rehearsal is held jointly with the Junior Choir.
Anyone interested in joining the Parish Choir should have a desire to
enhance regular worship through music, an interest in the English sacred
choral tradition, the ability to read music, a good ear and enthusiasm for
singing. Admission is not usually by audition, but rather by invitation, and
anyone interested should contact the Choir Director and Organist, Christian
Rutherford (01223 352542 or by email) to discuss this further.
Junior Choir
The Choir rehearses every Friday during school term, from 17:30 to 18:20
on its own, and then from 18:30 to 19:00 with the adults of the Parish Choir.
If you think your child might be interested in singing in the LSM Junior
Choir, please contact
Christian Rutherford
to arrange for a
meeting and possible informal voice trial.
Pre-Junior Choir
The Pre-Junior Choir began to meet again at 17:30 on April 20 2007 in
the Parish Room. Children between the ages of 3 and 7 are most welcome.
