Pre-Junior Choir
The Pre-Junior Choir came into existence in 2004 to prepare
the younger children at LSM for membership of the Junior Choir, and to introduce
them to the joy and fun that can be gained from music. At least six
children have now made the transition to the Junior Choir successfully.
The Pre-Junior Choir meets on Friday evenings between 17:30 and 18:30. Children between the ages of 3 and 7 are most welcome.
We play singing games, learn simple and not so simple songs, usually
perform at Gift Day, and also sing at various services – for instance, we
sang the Advent Wreath song on all the Sundays in Advent 2006.
At the end of every term we usually have a party, and drinks and biscuits are provided at the close of each session.
