Weddings
If you would like to have your wedding at LSM, you should contact the Vicar in the first instance. Note, however, that it is not possible, under Church of England regulations, for just anyone to be married in just any Parish Church. Your own (or your parental) home has to be in the parish concerned (click here to find out if you live in the parish of LSM), or you need to be on the Electoral Roll of the Church in which you wish to be married: this involves being a 'regular worshipper' at the church concerned over a period of six months. In some limited circumstances, it is possible to obtain an Archbishop's licence; the Vicar will explain the procedure for this if necessary. In the weeks leading up to a wedding, the Vicar will meet with you to explain the significance of the service in relation to your future life together; he will also introduce you to the people in charge of music and flower arranging.
At LSM, it is possible to be married according to one of the three rites currently authorised by the Church of England; if you are communicants, the Marriage Service may be celebrated in the context of the Eucharist ('Nuptial Mass').
If one or both partners have been divorced, or for any questions about services of prayer and dedication ('blessing') of a marriage, please consult the Vicar.

| Marriage Service in Church: | £240 |
